Garbage

We went outside to pick up the trash around the school. There was so much trash it was unbelievable. We almost had 8 full trash bags full (walmart size). Most of the trash looked like it ad been there for moths or even years. This should not be happening, because we have trash cans everywhere around the school. Thousands of animals die each year due to plastic and trash in general, which is really sad.

I saw a video a few days ago where a sea turtle had a big plastic straw stuck in its nose, the turtle was bleeding and could barley breathe, the good thing is that they were able to save the turtle without permanent harm and the sad thing is that, that situation could have easily been avoided by just recycling the straw.

There is a place that is called the great pacific garbage patch or the pacific trash vortex. Estimated it can cover from 270,000 square miles (size of Texas) up to 5,800,000 square miles (twice the size of the continental united states). This trash vortex is HUGE like Donald trump would say it, and most of it could have been avoided by just reusing or recycling something. I hope some people will change and actually respect nature with what it deserves. Even you can help by just reusing, recycling, and picking up trash when you see it. Those are three easy steps to help.
